Mountain biking on Lake Weissensee

Two major mountain biking trails pass the Franzerl at just a few hundred metres’ distance. After your bike trip under the summer sun, you can cool off with a dip into the crystal clear waters of Lake Weissensee; in rainy weather, you can warm up in the wellness zone either with infrared heat or in the sauna. Whether you are inside the house or outside, you always have a view over the lake.

There is a lockable bike store available for your bikes. There are also sockets to charge up e-bikes. Right next to the house, there is a paved area and a water hose for washing your bikes.

The pleasant climate at 1,000 metres above sea level,, the natural landscape and the grandiose viewsmake Lake Weissensee a very popular destination for mountain bikers. Starting directly from the lake shore, there are 13 mountain bike trails totalling 160 km of varying difficulty levels, leading up into the surrounding mountain world. Three downhill trails for the whole family lead from Naggler Alp down into the valley. For those who wish to get up to Naggler Alp without exerting themselves, there is a special MTB chairlift available, which will take you and your bike from the lake up to Naggler Alp in 12 minutes, offering superb views along the way.
